The market was behaving very strangely at the beginning of the week. We had a rough start. Two trades left open from the prior week gave us a big loss as they hit their stop loss. A few trades opened early in the week also hit their stops, and added to the pain. The lesson here is that losses are a part of trading. No risk, no gain, as I like to repeat to the point that I probably bore some of you, but it’s true. I guess another lesson is that we here at Special FX Academy don’t sweep the dirt under the carpet. When we lose, we tell you.
Well, there’s really no way to hide it, since we operate this trading room live. But I’ve seen other “academies” that never have a losing trade. Sorry, I mean, they never admit to a losing trade. That’s not trading, that’s marketing, and of a particularly nasty and unethical variety. With us, you get the real deal. As traders we will have losses. And we deal with them.
